Port Blair, June 20: Three positive cases have been detected, today of which, two were from incoming flight passengers who arrived here yesterday. Today, 12 flights with 1920 passengers arrived, out of which, 1619 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 248 passengers and the reports are awaited.

Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands to conduct recruitment exams for all vacant posts of Andaman & Nicobar Administration at Mayabunder and Car Nicobar Islands also along with Port Blair city so that youths of all the districts can appear in those recruitment exams, without facing the trouble to travel all the way to Port Blair.

Professional armed forces cannot be raised by recruiting ‘soldiers on contract’ for a period of four years. This scheme, to save pension money, severely compromises the quality and efficiency of our professional armed forces.
